Brand, Website
and Email
A brand built around her name, a customized Showit website and a Flodesk email program to grow awareness of her work as a mindset and longevity coach and speaker, all within an established budget.

The challenge
Linsly Donnelly coaches and speaks on thriving in midlife and beyond. She already had an audience and had run a course, but her brand, website and email weren’t yet working together.
She needed one identity, a website that brought her work together and a direct line to her audience, all within an established budget.
Spend the budget
where it shows.
I recommended Showit for the site: it fit the budget, it’s visually flexible, and she could manage it herself as an independent business owner. The sites she had shared as design inspiration were built on it, too. Starting from a Showit template instead of custom code put the budget where visitors would see it: her brand, her words and her photos.
I built the project plan and managed the timeline and budget from platform choice to launch.
A brand built around her name
Starting pointLinsly had explored two previous brand directions, but neither had developed into the identity she wanted.
My workWorking together, we established a simpler visual direction centered on a wordmark I designed, supported by warm neutrals and a berry accent. I carried that visual system through her Showit website and Flodesk emails, creating a consistent identity across her digital communications.
Built around her work
Starting pointA Showit template, chosen for her budget and the sites she admired.
My workI reorganized and customized the pages around her content and restyled the site in her brand, working back and forth with Linsly on photos and copy.
A list she owns
Starting pointFlodesk, which Linsly wanted to try on her network’s recommendation.
My workI set up her account, sign-up forms on the site and audience segments, then designed her regular emails.

One home
for her work.
Starting with a Showit template, I reorganized and customized the pages around Linsly’s content and business needs. I refined the layouts, typography and responsive presentation, sourcing and selecting imagery from her personal photo library and external photography resources to support the messaging.
The result brought her story, services, book, podcast and other offerings together in one cohesive website.

From show notes
to inbox.
I established Linsly’s Flodesk email program, carrying the website’s visual identity into the email templates. I designed the layouts, sourced and selected hero imagery, and adapted podcast show notes into concise email content.
I organized overlapping contact lists into smaller audience segments and used a phased sending approach to protect deliverability. I also set up the sign-up forms on her site and email authentication for her domain.

- Her wordmark, the same as on the site.
- A hero image, sourced and selected for each send.
- The episode title and a button to listen.
- A personalized greeting with each subscriber’s first name.
- Podcast show notes, adapted into concise email copy.
Live,
on budget.
The website launched in 2025 within budget, bringing Linsly’s work together in one public-facing destination, supported by a consistent visual identity and a direct email communication channel.

“Sue Randall is one of the best examples of a rare breed - powerhouse creative coupled with exceptional project management and deliverable integrity. … Sue reviewed and sourced platforms, built project plans delivering on quality, timing and budget … Sue is a delight to work with - communicative, a great listener, responsive and flexible. She also has the nimble attitude required to make start up life successful and enjoyable. I cannot wait to work with her again.”
On a small budget, the platform is a design decision. Choosing the one behind the sites she admired let the money go into what visitors see: her brand, her words and her photos.
